DSH Contracting is a relatively new company started by Dan Harrison. The company filed its paper's with the state of Pennsylvania on April 22nd, 2002. Business commenced in June of that year. Dan had worked in the industry for 5 years with Custom Contracting, a custom builder and general contractor in Hamilton, NJ. In that time, Dan had gained experience in residential as well as commercial jobs. He did jobs for such big corporations such as QVC, Ingersol Rand, Permacell, Brooks Brother's Clothing, BFI, Espoma, and many others. He also had worked on many residential jobs including decks, additions, porches, patios, interior finish work, and new home construction. In the past few years, new changes in the construction industry have brought modular homes to the forefront of state of the art construction. Custom Contracting since has combined the art of custom building with simplicity of modular design. So in the past few years, Dan has gained experience building various modular homes. Two years ago, Dan attended Virginia Tech for mechanical engineering. He later decided to leave engineering and pursue a different career in the construction trades. After a year of being on his own and working as an independent carpenter, he decided to form a legitimate company to continue his work. In May of 2002, DSH Contracting, LLC of Yardley, Pennsylvania was formed. DSH Contracting will take on all forms of jobs, from installing attic steps, to building a whole addition. We will consider all jobs and don't feel any job is too small.
